As title suggests, just looking for a reasonable cost non-urgent way to move a couch up from Sydney.
Happy to do it myself via driving, but seems crazy expensive for a 1 way drop of a van.
I guess there are the backload providers, but many seem questionable. Are there any that actually give quotes online/phone?
How much should I be expecting to spend here? Airtasker any good for this?
Anyone you know have a suitable trailer? If not, unlikely to be cost effective to move it.

Individual items of furniture are rarely worth the cost of transportation.
Setting aside hassle, it is usually economically better to sell (dump) the existing and purchase on the other side.
We used these guys once. Reasonable and no problems. They run up and down the east coast 3 times a week.
