I'm looking for a phone plan, either prepaid or postpaid (prepaid better), where i can keep my existing number (with boost) and be able to use it overseas in Cambodia and Thailand for 3 weeks whilst I'm on holidays. I need to be able to receive and send txt messages and also make and receive calls to my existing number.
Any idea where i start looking? my friend said to try Vodafone red $5 plan, Would this be the best option? Thanks :)
Boost already roams and Thailand is included.
Just add a roaming pack to your boost sim. It’s not worth changing to someone else for a 3 week trip.
Optus international roaming is decent if you can travel with data only & do calls via whatsapp/other apps. 14 days, 10GB, $20.
It can receive texts with no charges, but probably not enough credits for receiving & making calls unless you buy another pack ($10 credit for 14 days for calls etc)
also, amaysim released their packs today; Pricewise no one beats felix tho
