Where to Buy USA Style Tomato Chips?

Are there different tomato chips? People in the USA have tomato chips which seems different to the ones in OZ. Anyone know if they are the same one?

Where to buy them?

Also are truffle chips available to buy ANYWHERE? Amazon? link?

Tomato (Walkers) and prawn cocktail (Skips) crisps are 2 UK staples that haven't been able to readily find here.

    Also: Monster Munch!

I love Monster Munch. We don't have any crisps in Australia that change your tongue a different colour.

Burger Man tomato sauce flavour is pretty great.

  • So the samboy chips and the tomato flavoured chips are ACTUALLY different one to the term tomato chips from overseas

  • Also is truffle chips available to buy ANYWHERE? amazon? link?

Yes, but I'm not telling you because you lack research skills. Did you even do any before asking that question?

    • They in amazon for like 9 $ pack last i saw. and no where in store

        extensive research years ago

        • -1

Can't be that extensive if you didn't find anything apart from Amazon.

Wow, your research skills really suck. There are stores that sell them. But because I don't like you going by what you've posted here, plus the fact that you lack self-awareness, I'm not going to tell you.

Plus they're truffle chips; of course they're expensive. What were you expecting? Do you know how much 100g of truffle can go for?

        • I see them online at other stores besides amazon. years ago. but because i didn't type that doesn't mean i did not know.

@ilove: So I gather I should be paying the $7 to plus bucks for truffles chips. I didn't know.

          • @ilove: Well clearly you don't know, because here you are asking where to get truffle chips from …

            • -1

@kerfuffle: I'm asking. i know where to buy $7 to 9 buck truffles chips. few online stores… and amazon … Just a question on top of the different tomato chips… in USA to here.

        • Don’t mess with kerfuffle as he/she keeps a dossier of every poster’s antics.

Also, I just enjoy saying “truffle kerfuffle”.

I wonder if they also want someone to hand feed them the chips.

Wow. Your comprehension skills are really quite poor or you have bad short-term memory. I. Told. You. Truffle. Chips. Are. Expensive.

      • they are. i bought this at $4 something in woolies. i'm never bought imported ones. or tasted them. do I want to pay $xxx plus shipping for fried food? nope.

        • +1

Then truffle chips aren't for you.

Also those $4 ones by Red Rock Deli do not count as truffle chips

  • Aldi HAD truffle type chips. But i never saw them in store

Woolies had the turtle chips truffle flavor. We tried them on clearance around $4 a month or so ago.
I wasn't that impressed - will stick to the mala.

To market, to market, went my brother Jim
Somebody chucked a tomato at him
Tomatoes are soft and they don’t bruise the skin
But this one killed Jim, it was wrapped in a tin

    Munchos at the reject shop

  • Costco?

  • Your local Korean and Chinese grocery shops should have truffle chips, but they come in and out and different brands all the time. I've also seen tomato flavoured chips though they aren't always in the chip/crisp form, sometimes they are in tube/pringles wave/crinkled/animal shapes. If you don't find them at your local shop, you can head to a more asian-y suburb and they'll have bigger stores with more variety.
