Shipping has gone up by 20% since the last deal? I guess they really wanted to be the first under $500 so they had to bump up the shipping to compensate.

It's the first number that influences a lot of purchasers, smart move as many will see this as under $500 when of course it simply isn't.

    • Its not like the shipping is hidden. Its all in the title. Cheaper then Kogan but I am waiting for the 32gb to come back in stock.

Oh I know, not criticizing it, it's actually quite smart that they are the first to offer sub $500 but they've obviously had to bump the shipping to cover the cost.

Their margin on these must be pretty darn tight if they have to claw back ten bucks via shipping.

      • How long is the Shopping Square shipping compared to Kogan?

Like yourself, im waiting for one of them to re-stock

        EDIT: *re-stock the 32gig

        • Shopping Square says for Digital Camera (and Lens), Video Camcorder or Mobile Phone orders - the items will be shipped directly from Overseas Supplier by Fedex, DHL or EMS. It take 3-7 working days (plus Handling Time) to arrive Australia wide

        • For Handling time, that will include the time they handle the money, i.e. converting the $49.95 potage fee into 1 cent notes and then count it.

        • I had a reply from Kogan today, they have no idea when the 32gb will come back in stock. The only place I can find them at a decent price is TopBuy but I have never used them before.

Do some reading before dealing with topbuy. It's not all bad, but it can go wrong.

        • 32Gig is back in stock at Kogan White:649 Blue:679.
          Gone up in price :-/

        • and now both $649

  • Oddly, the white is $10 more than the blue @ $509.95

Wasn't that long ago the blue had the $10 premium attached.

  • Why did the rumours of the galaxy note 2 come up? I was about to purchase S3 now I'm curious about note 2 and have to wait another month. :( This deal is tempting though but 32gb would be better.

    • Yeah, galaxy note 2 rumours stopped me buying earlier. Only have to wait just over 3 weeks before we find out what it will be like.

      • edit: nvm
