      IMO not worth the extra hundred over the 129 duo

    For those that don't want the hassle of a hard wiring kit and potentially avoiding a dead car battery, you could always get a battery pack like Cellink or Blackvue.

    As I understand it, these battery packs charge up using the cigarette lighter socket while you are driving. Then feeds power to your dashcam when your vehicle's ignition is turned off. You could hardwire these as well if you so please. Both have apps to check battery status.

    I have a problem with viofo overheat in a hot day, a119s v2, so not recommend viofo.
