Do you get coffee from anywhere else with different results? Can’t say I have, although as far as I’m aware their coffee isn’t anything special.
Have you had testing done for lactose intolerance? The milk is the only thing I could imagine giving you gas, either that or whatever you’ve eaten before the coffee is getting pushed along with bean power lol.
i'm lactose intolerant but i don't get gas when i get coffee (with milk) from those places. it's different for all of us though..

My last HJ’s iced coffee was so bad it was basically undrinkable. Even if they were giving away iced coffees I wouldn’t go back for one. Maccas seem to be a little hit and miss however I’m even on a bad day it’s still better than HJ’s.
Pretty sure HJ does barista coffee now, so it would’ve been the barista that (profanity) up, unless there’s still places that do the pot. The one at my local is quite good you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference from the cafe next door.
That is because it is not Full of sugar as the maccas one
The coffee is good but anything involving their chocolate syrup is quite strong, almost off putting unless you specifically want something sweet, akin to chocolate ice cream or whatever.
My sister bought a Mocha and said, it was practically just milk. Guess it really depends on who's making it at the time
