What Is a Good Bidet?

I'm in the market for a bidet and would love to hear your suggestions and experiences with different models, as well as any tips for scoring a great deal on one. I've recently discovered the world of bidets and want to make the most informed decision possible before taking the plunge (pun intended)!

  • The standard $25 ones on eBay do the job well. I don't see the need for the higher end ones with heater, fans etc.

The ones that heat water are far, far preferable in the winter.

    "What is a good Bidet?"

One that doesn't squirt water up your nose.

  • bidet that dont have controls next to the seat. 🤮

I don't own one (yet) but rate Toto Washlets. You'll need to do some homework on RPZ valves and also decide if you're happy with the fit on your existing toilet - as the Toto models only come in two shapes

Yes, Toto is the default 'good' brand.

Anything is better than a bad bidet

HN now sells dunnies: All you have to do is bring your own paper!

  • If for what ever reason you do buy this, please get a plumber to place in a backflow system or buy yourself and fit it. Do not under any circumstances have any bidet style or toilet seat system with out one

    • What happens

      • Toliet blocks, water overflows bowl rim, bidet nozzle siphons black water into the water main, your whole suburb gets gastro

  • Toto is the Rolls Royce of bidets

  • What about the Xiaomi Uclean Whale Spout

  • I'm assuming you are after an all in one toilet and bidet. Reece have a few really good ones.
The Roca in wash is expensive but compared to Toto it is half the price with many of the same features.

I think they sell another 2 or 3 which are much cheaper again but don't look as good as the Roca
