And unless you're blind or visually impaired, one can easily avoid the pothole completely…
I hit a pothole as a kid, bike stopped, I went over handlebars, landed chin first and wound up with stitches and a concussion.
Scooter I would have been closer to the ground than my mountain bike, probably less damage.
Scooter has smaller wheels and have more issues with smaller potholes that a bicycle wheel could roll through.
Thinking of getting the scooter as more of a get for 50 days to see if a electric scooter fits my use case and then return it to aldi and buy a good one.
the scooter looks like M365 Pro knock off; Probably poor quality, but Aldi has a 60day return policy and good warranty where you can return the item 2 years later…

Likely the same quality as any other cheap eBay/Kogan/aliexpress product. But at least Aldi has a brick and mortar presence for warranty.
Make sure you are fully aware of the local rules for scooters. Getting stung for unlicensed, unregistered would take a bit of fun out of it.
E-bike is a hub motor so you won’t get the extra benefit of hearing helping the motor uphill.
Good points. The middrive that I like is one someone shared on here once - the lekker amsterdam GT or something like that which Ive test cycled and is amazing. But also 4k is soooooo much.
$1K for that eBike with only a 7.5Ah battery is pretty steep when we’ve been able to get the Valk MX7 for under $900

The Skywalker Scooter app is functional, but it's no longer available on Google Play. As a result, I downloaded the *.apk file from a random dodgy website. Despite this, the app has been functioning properly. However, I appreciate your suggestion and will give the alternative KCQ Scooter app a try.
