Renting additional parking in Sydney apartment

Hi all, I'm currently looking for an apartment to rent in Western Sydney - Ryde and surrounding areas.

I am looking to rent in an apartment complex and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with renting an additional park?

How much does it typically cost for an additional car park on average (if you can get one) in the same apartment complex?

Cheers.

    Surely it depends which area

I’d imagine a spot at the rocks cost more than one in pagewood

Why don’t you look at apartments for rent in your building/ area and see what the difference is between places for rent with one vs two spots?

I get little slips in mailbox from other apartments wanting to rent their parking spot all the time. It's $60-80 a week in CBD.

Some apartments have a classifieds board in the lobby (or webpage) allowing you to say you are after a parking spot or sometimes people advertise there saying they have an extra spot for rent. YMMV.

On average $50 per week, plus minus $20 depending on suburb and building.

Considering Wilson parking offers long term car park spots from about $15/day, I’d say you can rent a spot for $50 per week in those areas (Western Sydney) and can negotiate further for long-term rental

  • Thanks all, this was very helpful
