qld/wa? melbourne/sydney haven't been free for a while. you used to be able to to get $5 tickets though, now this is the best offer each year

      • QLD it was, long line to the food, plenty of alcohol to test, it was a tough day…

Yeh we wait until free tickets come about. Not paying to go to an expo.

    • Yeah, I got in for free last year from entertainment book offer. Let’s wait a bit

      • The event is this Saturday, any free tickets??

  • People say about it being too expensive even at $15 (and I think I got in for about $10 last year) but dang if it isn't amazing value if you just want to get plastered. There was so much alcohol to try last year, the next day was a write-off!

    • Is it free alcohol with the Free tasting glass?

      • Yeah but this event has already passed now.

  • We got a 30% off tickets last year which also gave us 30% off the Riedel glass tasting. We got tasting sets for $70 each.

As an events planner I can tell you you should be able to get free tix, cause paying to be exposed to marketing is wild. Esp as the event isn't what it used to be. Last year was good though.

    • I would agree but we haven’t seen many free tickets in the last couple of years. Normally I eat enough tasters to cover the cost.

  • went free last year & it was much better than expected, top tip is go on the Friday when it's less busy, they certainly did well out of us had to grab an uber we had bought so much, probably the alcohol helped

    • Agree- went free on the Friday, it was awesome

  • I went today. If you are into spirits, gins, vodka etc there are quite a few distillers this year.

  • Just came across this deal.

Is it free wine when using the Free tasting glass?

  • We hv had 2 for 1 on any credit card last year.Hope it comes back
