Can't Download PS5 Patch for Mask of The Lunar Eclipse

Hi Ozbargaineers,

After a 6 week wait from videogamesplus.ca I finally got Fatal Frame Mask of the Lunar Ecipse "Asian Version" for PS4. It says on the cover "PS5 Upgrade available" but the upgrade is nowhere to be found. When I go to the game page on PSN, it only has the option to purchase it for $75, even though I have installed the game and have the disc in the console.

I suspect that this is a region issue. Do I need to set up another PSN account, and if so, in what region? would I need to do this with a VPN? (I don't have one and don't otherwise have a need ) And ultimately, is worth the hassle, i.e does anyone know if the PS5 version is much better than the PS4 ver?

    You need to figure out which Asian version it is and create an account corresponding to that. A link or picture would have helped us to help you…

    Say it has a CERO label on it then you’ll need to create a Japanese account. Sign in, insert disc, download PS5 version, swap back to regular account and can still play it.

    Not the japanese version. Packaging is in english. Im going to assume HK version perhaps? Listed as "asian [English] version"
