Last two packages from Sparesbox arrived with missing items. Ebay always says package delivered and Sparesbox do not seem to care that items not included. Fed up with opening disputes against them. If sending part orders they need to notify us and not pray we just forget.

but what could be the risk of missing item with a bottle of wash & wax? missing cap?

      • +3

When you order and pay for 2 and only 1 arrives. Transaction complete but you are left short.

  • This is one Bowden’s product that I don’t rate, honestly Meguiars wash and wax is better or as an alternative Nanolicious if you can get it on special.

    • curious to know why is that?

      • +1

I find the sudsing action very weak.

        • -1

I agree on that one, I only use this one on my wheels, I've always disliked using it on the cars body. For good suds, NV snow, best product around.

But also I admit, I use my pressure washer which greatly improved the suds on wash wax.

          • @banterbants: I use a pressure washer and still not satisfied.
I do rate CarPro Reset & NV Snow however they aren’t really a replacement for a wax and wash.
You are probably better off using Snow/Reset and a spray sealant if you have time.

            • @AusNugz: 100% agree, not a direct replacement, better results from using a wash such as NV snow and using a good quality sealent. However that takes away from the convenience of a wash wax, which gives nice results just through the wash, however no added protection that a sealent may provide.

i'm neutral on this and i can't object nor deny but

unless all of these are paid reviews lol

@[Deactivated]: Yeah it's definitely not a bad product at all, it gives great results with my wheels and I've used plenty of products for the wheels in my time.

I just agree with auznugs that the suds are very weak.

Good find tho op, if I didn't already have a spare 2l I'd buy it!

    • I am the same. I have Bowden’s but would not buy another. It is just a little too gloopy and smelly for me. The price point per litre is alright though.

Meguir’s Gold and Ultimate are both just so easy to apply and great for first timers due to how forgiving it is. Both are my go to when on special. Compared to Bowden’s, I rate Meguiars’s Ultimate just a touch ahead on slickness and shine. The smell is nice too.

Surely this is against the Oz Bargain rules around gambling https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:deal_posting_guidelines?s[]=gambling because any purchase from Sparesbox is undeniably gambling

97.7% positive Feedback surely can't be that bad

Has been good in the past and i have supported them in ozb comments in the past. Unfortunately things seem to have gone downhill.
