I got both on ps5 and switch….the switch plays a bit different and you could also use 4 joy cons to play 4 players and a 2 button setting.
In short it feels like a different football game.
It is a different game. They release Legacy versions on Switch every year and it says on the case that it is updated squads, stadiums and kits only. They have been selling the exact same game on the Switch for the last few years.
You don't get the "real" game on Switch - but usually cheaper and of course switch is portable

At most 2% of the FIFA’s customer base cares about Women’s football. They don’t care about it any more than you and I care about it, they are cowing down to this imposter like PC culture that surrounds us.
As a yearly game, the purchasing time is directly linked to the price. There is only about half a year to go before the next generation to be released, so it is obviously much cheaper.
When the new version released, there will not be enough player to do online gaming with this version. Not really a deal in my understanding.
so what do you do for the next 6 months if you don't have the game?
I feel like FIFA use to get to this price point a lot earlier than April in years gone by…
