As the title states, getting very slow upload speeds on my PS5 but download is fine
Use to get around 14-16 up but last night and today I’m getting g 2.7-3.5 up. Noticed when I was playing Fortnite and the game wasn’t running as smooth as it normally does. Now and then got a bit of a studder
I’m connected via Ethernet cable and all my other devices in the house are getting normal upload and download speeds
Anyone else experiencing this?
How did you test
PS5 Settings like I always do
Just the other week maybe a bit longer when I last tested I was getting 14-16 up
Yesterday and today 2.5-3.7 up

Could be a server issue.
I’ve had no issues playing online all morning
Just the speed test in the ps5 settings, the upload speed is slow
If you can, test yours and let me know what you get

I mean is your game stuttering or something?
Last night it wasn’t bad but I did get every now and then a stutter like playing on a switch but not as bad
What traffic was going through on the network? What's your NBN speed? And did you do a speed test on other devices to confirm that "normal" was as expected?
Maybe look at prioritisation on the router as well.
Yes done a speed test on my Mac everything god good up and down
Only thing is the PS5 upload speed is slow as I said the other week fine

Could just be Sony servers. They're not great in Aus.
Maybe worth checking you're not on NAT3.

I had similar last week. I don’t tear often but my plan is 250/25 and my upload was down to 8 on PS5. I also had some issues playing Fortnite with a few complete disconnects. At the time I did some speed tests on the Nvidia Shield Pro (it’s connected in the same manner as the PS5) and my upload was 20.
I played a few games on the weekend and had no issues.
I haven’t don’t another speed test.
I’m getting 248 down and 11.4 up today
Edit: That was via the the inbuilt speed test
I did one via speedtest.net and that was 255 up and 22 down
So it’s Sony’s servers
Just did another speed test and now it’s up to 6.4 which is better but not my normal 16 I was getting a few weeks back when I tested
It must be the PSN servers I’m guessing as all my other devices get the normal upload speed
Yeah seeing the same thing here, is an upstream issue of some kind.
Just tested and got 10.1 so hopefully it’s on its way back up 🤞
You say the ethernet cable is connected. Is that a direct from Router to PS5 or does it run through a patch wall plate or an ethernet over power adaptor?
