I'm getting a steam deck delivered this week and was wondering if anyone has any experience/recommendations for a dock for their steam deck?
Also curious if there is anything to look out for as an Aussie since I assume there are none with an AU plug?

yeah , it seems to have overall the most positive feedback but might just hang out for the first party dock.
the one i see recommended most 3rd party was was the jsaux one but still no aus seller with a decent price.

do you actually need a dock that shows the screen or an adapter that allows you to charge and use an external display?
Don't specifically need a dock, just something to charge and connect to the TV via HDMI. But having it be vertical would be nice :p
I have a few usb-c dongles lying around at home, they all have hdmi and usb-c power passthrough among other connectors, one is even an Anko brand from Kmart - they all work with the deck, so I'd say get the one that has the right inputs / design for you.
There’s one with 600 reviews on amazon but not sure how legit it is given how bought reviews are so common on the market place. Was low key hoping Kogan would have done a grey import on the official one by now.
