eBay Offer from Seller, if I Accept Can I Still Use eBay Plus Voucher?

I was looking at an item on eBay that has a $50 voucher code with ebay plus. Today I received an "offer" from the seller which takes $25 off the price.

My question is, if I accept the seller's offer, can I still use the ebay plus voucher to get that $50 off as well? The little box where you get to accept or decline the offer says nothing about the voucher, and seems to imply that if you click "Accept" that's it, you can't back out.

So I thought I better reach out to the experienced bargain hunters here :)

You can accept the offer then apply the coupon code during checkout*

*The conditions of the coupon code must still be met eg. Minimum spend $150 etc.

Copy the code before clicking accept, although they do usually come up as an option in the checkout process.

      • Good idea. Code is also likely under the promotions tab and also in an email (if you subscribe).

      • I'll remember that for next time! Code came up in the checkout, fortunately.

Yeah, I've done this recently on a "Make and Offer" thing. It worked fine :)

The seller offer is the seller themselves offering you a cheaper price to hopefully get a sale. The vouchers are ebay offering you a deal which you can use on that same transaction.

Nearly the same but I asked a seller to match a very good Amazon price on something once and then applied the ebay voucher no problem.

I just had this happen today; I had 2 items from the same seller in my watchlist, the seller made an offer for a 5% discount on each item separately, I accepted each item separately (but didn't pay immediately), then went to my cart where I was able (and prompted to) apply an eBay Plus "Spend and be rewarded" voucher ($25 off a spend of $200 or more).

Both items were a touch over $100 pre-discount, so it worked out well being able to add them both to my cart and not have to pay on the spot.
