Of this group of torches, I personally have the SC18 and SP36, and can recommend them both! I may add the SP40A to the collection this time around, as I have not seen it on special for quite a while.

I've personally found Sofirn's customer service to be excellent, which is one of the main reasons I keep coming back! (My sofirn collection: SC18, IF22A, SP33S, SP36 & Q8 Pro!)

    Received and tested it.

Honestly, it's not bright as I expected. Even it's not brighter than my cheap headlamp that I bought from eBay(under $20 I paid). It mentioned maximum 1,200 lm, I understood.

However, quality like the shape and finish of product and evenness of the light are very good I think. And operation switch controls it has different from other products I have, and I think it's better way and easy.

I'll have to field test it for a longer period of time before I can fully evaluate it, but it seems like a good product.

If Sofirn has bright headlamp as Sp36 or Q8, I will buy that. Thank you @youknow!

I suggested the cheap HS20 - see the chart for outputs - but sounds like you want very high lumens, which will be very exe - eg the $900 Olight H67. That reviewer (1lumen) has links to his best headlamps for various activities if you're interested.

Personally I wouldn't want anything like the Q8 on my head but you could make your own with a cheap bicycle helmet and a bit of velcro.
