      • There is a running joke at work about how much my umbrella cost in comparison to what others in the office use, my post above was really just the verbatim reply that I give on rainy days when someone inevitably brings it up. I then remind them of the current exchange rate and ask them if they own an umbrella which has appreciated in value over the years. The umbrella in question is a Davek Saville so not really that high end in comparison to a Brigg or similar.

Ahhhh so jealous. 40k was an absolute steal. Could've sold my mx5 and gotten a gr yaris for 5k more at the time. Now the price difference is like 20k

    • I think I remember this deal. It was controversial since a Yaris is supposed to be cheap, but this was some sporty limited model?

What was the price and what does it go for now?

Several Raspberry Pis I've now been selling at a profit after owning for several years! And I have a CC Audio somewhere here. Have they gone up?

  • Bought an excellent condition copy of Pokemon Emerald for about $150 when I visited the states in 2016. Admittedly I fully expected it to appreciate but nobody expected the pandemic to cause the second-hand game market to blow up.

  • PlayStation Vita TV.

Bought it under $100 on clearance. It bombed hard.

Sold it years late for $300.

  • Bought an evo 5 in 2009 for 15k… Looks like they fetch 40 to 50k these days.

  • What time frame does everyone think used cars will go back down in price again once supply of new cars gets back to normal?
