Roughly same price at other major retailers as well (for whom you can pay via discounted gift cards e.g JB and Good guys)
I misread it as WH instead of WF initially on mobile. My bad.
These have been a nightmare for Sony support with all the battery-related replacements they had to do because of the firmware screwup.
Additionally, the successor unit is most likely being announced soon, as I believe I've already seen the FCC filings.
I agree. It was a pretty bad experience and it was quite disappointing. However got my partner's and mine eventually replaced (buds only, no charging case) despite being out of the offfcial 12 month warranty. It took almost 4 weeks but it happened. Sony really messed up with the firmware update.
I think par for these is around $220, refurbished about $175 from memory
My refurbished were bought in August and the left ear is down to 1% in 30 mins and the right ear is down to 65% in the same time.
Could be the same on new but disappointed to say the least.
Also had to replace the battery on my wh xm4s and it's not really going very well with that either.
I guess anybody can get unlucky though.
The product is good but the longevity is questionable.
