Probably a stupid question but I'm not getting clear results on Google. I've just agreed to rent a furnished apartment, my question is give ln that it's furnished so I need to have a contents insurance policy that includes the items owned by the owner, or just mine?

Insure your own belongings and the landlord will insure their's. When you take out the insurance policy, there's a public liability component. I believe that may cover you if someone makes a claim against you for damage to their property etc. Have a read of the PDS to confirm.
