$549 for Moto Edge Fusion What Do U Think?

Not to sure if I should bite the bullet or not but was wondering if this deal is the cheapest mobile phone with the Snapdragon 888?

Specs looks decent however battery life is what I'm about concern about.

Cheers,

if i remember correctly the 888 was considered a terrible chip relative to its predecessor and the 8+, is there a reason why you're specifically targeting it?

    • Seems the Snapdragon 888 is pretty powerful that's why and I can't justify spending over $600 on a phone haha.

  • The Motorola Edge30 series has really poor heat dissipation :/

Tried 3 different ones for kid, once it over heated (~3hrs screen on), it would auto-shut-down for days! Wouldn't reboot or respond to the power button at all :/

  • F#CK YEAH !
I love my new moto edge 30 neo and the Fusion is twice the phone mine is.
I was lucky I got my neo for $275 3 weeks ago, but would still have considered (bought) the fusion for $550.

Battery life on my neo's 4000mah battery is 2 days of light use (that's with optimiser turned on) PLUS the 67 watt FAST CHARGER included. From 40% to 100% in well under 30 minutes.

  • Depends how long you have to wait. Edge Pro 30 has been $499 before, same as Edge Pro 20. I would expect that as long as Motorola's market share is around the same then these prices would continue for Edge Pro 40… etc eventually.

  • I wouldn't pay over $400-$450 considering the amount of times it's been on special. I currently got mine for $310 from eBay (with code) it was listed as an unwanted gift but brand new just box has been open.
