Shopback - Unable to link card Issue

I am facing an issue while trying to add my Coles Master gift card to ShopBack to purchase Super Swap cards. Specifically, when attempting to add the 4th $100 card, I received a message yesterday stating,

"Unable to link card. For security reasons, you can't link this card to this ShopBack account. Use a card from a different issuing bank and try again."

Has anyone experienced this issue before, and if so, do you know how to resolve it?
I have already attempted to uninstall and reinstall the app, but the problem persists. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Sparky (AI chat bot): At this point, ShopBack only supports Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards that are issued in Australia.

Coles Mastercard gift card is neither a credit nor a debit card. It is a prepaid, non-reloadable gift card.

    • oh..it was lucky that I was able to use at least three of them.

      • same on mine, used a few. where can we use the rest then

  • It seems related to your account, not the card. If you link the same card to another shopback account, it'll work. Shopback may have some sort of protection mechanism triggered by linking too many certain types of gift card?

  • Having the same problem, I have contacted support as is Shopbacks side and tried many cards and got latest app

  • @gotyourback I am having the same issue but with Nab bank card. Tried to raised with customer support but guy is no help. Any help or suggestion ?
