It depends on the product and if it's on sale. I got a $5 electric hair clipper that retailed for $15-20, and that included free delivery with their Kogan+ trial.

Companies want you to just buy everything from them without researching first. Don't fall for it.

Kogan has 3rd party sellers on the platform and those listings are most often the expensive ones. Kogan have pretty good sales every so often.

    • says the ex kogan rep 😜

      • I've done a lot more for a lot less xo

Their 3rd parties seller wow the mark up why even bother listing overpriced items ruins brand reputation

    • 3rd party sellers are the absolute worst.

Beds are a big offender here. Bunnings, Myer and David Jones all sell "delivery only" beds that are clearly Alibaba beds that will fall apart in 3 months, why stake your reputation on such dodgy products.

The value of the ruble has plummeted, so they probably need to charge more just to make the same amount of money in Russia. Oligarchs or whatever.

    • That makes no sense. If the value of the rouble has plummeted, then they would be able to charge less in Australian dollars to make the same amount of roubley.

  • Kogan was pulled off Qantas and Velocity online shopping platform and jacked up the prices of 30 day Mobile Plans recently. Its marketing budget is getting tight.
