PCByte Built-to-Go PC Yea or Nay ?

Hi guys,

Was looking for a PC when I came across PCByte website :

https://www.pcbyte.com.au/c/built-to-go-office-pcs

and thinking of getting this bundle at $499:

https://www.pcbyte.com.au/p/amd-r5-5600g-4-4ghz-8gb-240gb-no…

Bundle Contains:

1x AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6 Core/12 Threads 3.9/4.4GHz AM4 CPU Processor 100-100000252BOX $259
1x ASRock AMD B550M Pro4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $179
1x Team Elite DDR4 3200MHz 8GB (1x8) Desktop Memory TED48G3200C2201 $30.36
1x Western Digital WD Green 2.5" 240GB SATA Internal SSD WDS240G3G0A $45
1x Besta B40 Mid Tower ATX Case with 550W PSU $69

The website says it is in stock.

I am fine with the specs, just that I have not purchased from the company before.

Any foreseeable issues I will be having?

  • Just pray that nothing will go wrong with this system. Still in a process of RMA a motherboard, since they have received my motherboard they havent been replying to any kind of communication. When I tried to call, they just told me to email the person who is in charge of my RMA. Thing is the motherboard is brand new tested for 1 week and I have sent it back, they should just be able to send me a replacement but they still have it to assess but have not heard from them since. So just beware of this shop. Its been 3 weeks now since they have received it back.

  • I've only had 1 warranty issue with them, for an external disk drive enclosure, after i returned it at my cost it took about 6 weeks before they finally decided to provide a refund.

  • I ordered an SSD from them two weeks ago that has not shipped. After emailing them on Friday night I got a reply now saying they are not able to give me an estimate for when it will ship. Needless to say will never be ordering from them again.

  • The 5600g is $189 at PLE
