Leather Couch 3 Seats with Chaise

Hi I need a couch

I am leaning towards Brown leather couch 3 seats with chaise. I had a quick look on IKEA and don't mind landskrona how much more would I pay for higher quality?

Something comfortable for napping, movies, video games also hard wearing (kids + dog)

I have no idea about who makes a quality couch

In Perth if that helps

Thanks

  • Nick Scali does some nice couches of non bespoke places. They’re pricier though

    King furniture

  • The Ikea couch certainly doesn’t look comfy or "Something comfortable for napping, movies, video games also hard wearing (kids + dog)"

It's more the styling I like
      Simple / clean

  • I bought the Vimle from Ikea. It looks great, but I have had issues with the seat cushions slipping. It might seem a small issue but its pretty irritating and making the couch uncomfortable since I have to keep pushing the cushion back up. Having had it for 2 months now, I can see where the IKEA couches are not quite up to the quality of the more expensive brands. But like you said, it depends how much you want to spend. I would say a similar couch (sofa bed couch) from King or Nick Scali is close to 10K. I paid 3.5K in comparison. But I am thinking of upgrading in 2-3 years.

Don't rule out a low mileage second hand quality (leather) one.
As people move and downsize this sort of furniture piece comes up for sale occasionally.
Just ask what brand it is first and google their quality & reviews.
I see you are in WA. From memory a business called Ross's? Auctions used to have regular sales (new) of a specific leather furniture manufacturer.
Maybe it was Gascoigne or Ajax?

    • Thanks will check it out

  • Thoughts on the quality of 'freedom furniture'?

  • Visit a Natuzzi showroom to experience high-quality leather furniture, work your way down from there. Probs your biggest consideration - how long will you be in your current living room? 3-seater with chaise can get pretty big and you wouldn't want to sell if moving to a smaller place.
