My Phone Number May Have Been Maliciously Spoofed

Lately, I have been receiving calls from unknown individuals claiming that I attempted to contact them.

However, I never made any such calls. This issue has persisted for the past 3-4 weeks, leading me to believe that my phone number may have been maliciously spoofed. I have already reported this on IDCARE and Scamwatch.

Please let me know what should I do next?

  Nothing you can do, it’s a cycle and a few weeks they’ll move onto the next number. Wouldn’t hurt to contact your mobile provider and tell them to put a note on your account

  Sorry to hear, that sucks.

  Few people I know had it happen for about a week then they moved on to a new number i guess.
  Few weeks is annoying.

  File a complaint with your phone provider. They are refusing to confirm incoming calls to their network actually came from the origin.
