Shop local is the obvious choice since it works across a number of stores

  • Works with Foodland .. :D if they post me the gift card… but transaction went thr with 10% off..

    • It does too! I was trying a $10 one whoops!

  • Cheers don't see mitre10 or total tools discounts very often.

  • Thanks, I see they are no longer accepting Amex as payment. Was obtaining maximum reward points with my Platinum Edge card, still a good deal though.

    • I bought the gift card with Amex

Do PayPal pay in 4 as it will take auspost 2 weeks to deliver it

    • Did just that :)

  • Would Shop local GC work at Foodland? Not sure if IGA and Foodland come under the same umbrella?

  • Has anybody bought from them (Metcash) before? Are they reliable? It would be my first time purchasing from them, if I do get the Foodland GC.

    • Metcash own all of these brands so to answer your question, yes they are reliable. I'd personally trust them 100%.

      • Sold :)

Yeah I bought from the last deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/750603) that's why I know how sloe it takes to get to you (well I am in WA).
The IGA staff just need to remember its EFTPOS with a PIN, not one of their local gift cards.

Side note, as it's seen as EFTPOS (SAV) if you return something (like bad chicken breasts) they give you money back as cash.

I bought $250 as part of the last deal. Came pretty quick and all worked. Had no complaints. Will order more for sure.

      • Did they provide you a tracking number for your postage?

  • How did you find out about the 10% off, @HamBoi69? Did you get an email?

  • I could only use the coupon once.

Yes, you need to use different email address to purchase. Same delivery address is fine.

  • Expired???? I cant buy with discount code as it shows Google captcha not valid??

  • I had trouble activating a giftcard during the previous promotion and customer service was appalling. Activation code simply didnt work and would not activate physical card. Apparently it was a fault at my end (?) and no solution was offered. I did manage to do a chargeback after alot of back and forth with the bank but would never use again.
