Bosch vs Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine 10kg

Looking for a new washing machine and I think I’ve managed to narrow it down to a Bosch (WGA254UOAU) and Fisher & Paykel (WH1060P3).

Just wondering if anyone has either of these machines or if anyone has a better recommendation?

My budget is around $1,000 and I would like a 10kg machine.

This is replacing an LG top loader (6.5kg) that lasted only 4 years but started to die about 6 months ago. I’d like to stay away from LG due to the poor customer service I received.

Edit: Thanks everyone I ended up buying the Bosch. I couldn’t put up with my current machine any longer.

Our Bosch lasted 12 years doing nearly 4k runs until it just stopped. Since I bought it on an Easter special for like half price we just dumped it.
FP ? Meh, maybe for a carton of beer?

    • Was it a German model?

Ours turned out to be a Hitachi clone. But all mates swear by Bosch. As for poor us we currently wash with a LG FL. Washes fine, driers are excrement!

    Bosch > F&P

    Bosch if german made
Bosch, F&P are about the same when Chinese made

    My German Bosch is 10/10.
I spent the extra and got the one with iDos. It's the best.

WGA254UOAU is made in China, but I would still pick this over the F&P erryday of the week.

  • LG WTG7520 top loader is highly regarded

  • My Bosch washing machine developed cracks on the top, not long after buying it. Bosch couldn’t care less and it is still cracked years later.

      Wow not good.

  • As long as it's a GERMAN Bosch.

  • Bosch, absolutely.
