Curious if anyone in regional QLD have Starlink test results on what you get with your service? More specifically I am South Burnett, QLD.
I am currently on NBN Fixed Wireless. Testing to a local server in Australia I get about 80ms ping and 50~60mbps download when lucky (more like 30mbps in peak time) and about 5-6mbps upload.
We live on top of a hill, the tallest in the region, roughly about 570m above sea level. Ironically, I am higher than the NBN Fixed Wireless tower…. so a number of surrounding trees etc can cause interference. We never get anything more than 2/3 signal bars.
Provided you have a clear view to the sky, you'll likely see several hundred Mbps download speeds on Starlink. Won't know till you try it though I guess. I don't live there so can't comment entirely accurately but everyone I know who has one is getting really decent speeds.
