Not saying it's a bad deal but Paris in October/ November isn't the best. Not yet Christmas, missed out on late summer and early fall (September is great) and it's getting cold/rainy

  Not only is Changi a great airport, and the free city tours option, but it is so easy to get in and out of Changi you could easily take a trip into the city in that time.

I looked up some of these fares on SQ's site. It seems that 1. The first leg are indeed on Scoot and 2. The fares are unable to be changed or cancelled. So you'd better be sure you're able to travel on the days you book. Also, seat selection costs extra.
