Android Phone with USB OTG (Host) Feature

I want to buy a phone that can be used as a camera remote. Using USB is more reliable than using wifi, so am looking for a phone with USB OTG feature. Any idea what is the best option here ?

    It that true google remove the phone abolity to read usb thum drive? Suddenly i cant read my usb from my samsung phone this year. 1 or 2 years ago, can. Thats OTG

      Don't think so - works fine on mine on Galaxy Fold 4

      I don't have a Samsung, but both my phones use a version of Android.

      I had some problems with the USB/OTG port on one not doing what I wanted. I found that I'd been offered a number of choices of how it worked in Settings, and I'd selected one, and that's all it'd do. So I had to unselect that, so it'd offer me the choice of how I wanted it to work whenever I plugged something into it.

    I just plugged a usb mouse into my pixel phone and it works, I assume you want to use Ethernet via usb? There are a lot of crap adaptors out there, the Apple one works well if they still make them
