RTX 4090 Official Price Cut

Hi All,

I have seen these articles on the internet. nVidia has officially cut the 4090 prices by 9.2%. It is only for Founders Edition and only at Europe at the moment. I believe we will see the reflection of it soon here in AU. nVidia said that this price cut is to align with the Exchange rate changes but could it be preparation of 4090 Ti release?

    Good news, thanks for sharing.
    Probably few weeks before it's reflected at the retailers, but likely before the end of Q2, as they'd like to bump sales.
    Worth waiting IMO, that'd translate to regular prices <$2500, and possibly even lower at EOFY sales

    Nvidia's earning announcement to shareholders is listed for the 24/05/2023,
    all articles are hinting that their sales report is going to look pretty bleak compared to previous years.

    Hopefully some pressure from shareholders will bring on some sales in the weeks post announcement.

      Aren't they making bank from their enterprise AI chips? They've actually got a monopoly here at a time when everyone is making huge investments here

        I know they've been investing heavily into AI R&D, but couldn't tell you whether its been converting to large sales.
        Guess well find out on the 25th.

    great news, anyway, I bought a 7900XT after years on team green and really happy with it.

      Such a shame that AMD's ray tracing performance is two generations behind Nvidia cards as is their FSR2 vs DLSS3
