  • On-premise only for a range of pubs only (in NSW at least). If you're already drinking at a hotel rather than a club or at home, chances are you don't need to get 50% off a single beer. May be better off buying a case from BWS tomorrow with the 30% rebate @ www.ozbargain.com.au/node/773304

Sorry OP - not meaning to rain on your parade. I just got excited thinking this promo may be for a buy one (case) get one free kind of deal. I'm sure the chance for a free beer will tick plenty of boxes for many other OzBargainers who aren't so concerned about presenting coupons at their local.

    • It isn't 50% off a single beer; it is get two-for-one.
No venues listed near me, so not worth it for me.

      • True. I should have said, "50% off two beers".

If but nothing else, two beers is better than one…

        • Two beers is (usually) better than one; depends on the beer available and your preferences

  • Thank you, kilgara101.

Wouldn’t drink those if I got paid!

    • Swan Draught, drink of champions… Or for people that wear tracksuits of the brand Champion…

Is this a bonus loop hole for SA?

Buy a schooner and receive an equivalent 425ml product.

Lion owners haven't done their research on pub intricacies amongst states.

Seems odd that it's a schooner in Tas. I didn't think any pubs here used schooners. Then again, it's been a couple of decades since I used to frequent the Mowbs, I've been to the Riverside maybe once and the others not at all.

  • One of the worst data collection offers I've seen - they're only likely to capture people who already go to those pubs

  • It worked. Tried it Brooklands tavern(WA) last night. The bartender mentioned it can be used once per day per person. Funny thing is there's no barcode to be scanned. You just have to swipe Infront of the bartender.

    • It’s better than that. You can put in a fake email and name and it takes you straight to the verification page to swipe in front of the bartender. This is so easily abused. I love it.
