Is Dreamaker a Reputable Brand for Heated Throws?

I just bought a $100 heated throw from Amazon, Dreamaker brand, was one of the only ones I could find that was 200x180cm. Seems good enough, remote is a bit basic. Anyway when I ordered it I sort of thought Dreamaker was a brand that had been around for a long time. I saw Target sell these same throws just not in this 200cm size, so if it's in retail stores here then it must not be a cheap no name one. But now that I think about it I think I may be confusing Dreamaker with something else. Just worried it'll break after a few months like heated throws seem to according to reviews, so $100 on a blanket that will break quickly won't really save me money vs just turning the heat on.

  • You might have been thinking about Sleepmaker? They've been making beds forever.

    • Yeah I think that’s it. Damn. It only has a one year warranty too.

      • There's a good chance you won't need the warranty if it malfunctions because you'd already be toast! 😁

Edit: I just looked at your link. That green is so ugly (unless you're over 80, then you're excused!) haha

        • Oof, maybe I should have got the natural colour. Am thinking of getting a second one for my bed, the green one is for computer chair. What colour should I get, bearing in mind black is sold out in 200cm.

          • @AustriaBargain: I can't tell you what to get, but I think there's a reason it's only available in "certain" colours. The 80+ year olds obviously don't go on Amazon.. haha

        • +1

i liked that green :( and im 34. the Eden feels too OTT

  • Is Dreamaker a Reputable Brand

    Who now?

  • All good mate. I have one going on 4 years strong always in use during winter in Melbourne.

But it's cheaper on the eBay store because you can use coupon codes especially if you have eBay plus. I actually just bought another 200cm one 2 days ago for $74.66.

Ooo I didn't think of that. I do want a second one so I guess that's what I'll do. Wonder if I should buy two from eBay and return one to Amazon to save $25 difference…

Do you have a link to the 200cm faux fur one you bought for $74.66 with eBay plus? I'm having some trouble finding.

The faux fur one is $82.96 on eBay plus with MAY17 code which is 17% off. Lots of different colours and styles in stock with this seller.

I bought the normal coral fleece one.

        • Thanks, if I order another one then that looks like the way to go. I guess I shouldn't return it to save $17, seems to be an unpopular idea.
