Having trouble finding origami paper

Hi there,

I'm not sure if this fits under general discussion or find me a bargain (mods: feel free to move topic) but I'm having some trouble finding some nice and decently priced origami paper.

Preferably ones which are standard GSM (80-100 I think it is for printing paper?)

Ideally the paper would be around A4 size, but I'm not sure where to look.
I don't need a stack of coloured printing paper but it might be the fallback plan for now.

Where do you guys usually get this stuff from?

    Look at ebay.

If not, go to Morning Glory(or stores similar to that), it should be popular in Sydney

    • Ahh good thinking, completely forgot about those!

      • Also, if there is like a closing book store nearby.
You could find some origami instruction books, which usually come with origami paper

        • Thanks, but I'm after about 40 sheets.

Man, I've been trawling ebay since you mentioned it.
          Spoilt for choices!

        • Craft shop?
I'm sure something like spot light would have it.

I was in Kinokuniya the other day and they have a buckload of this stuff. However Kino always sell stuff at RRP so it might be quite expensive

EDIT: Its near the japanese manga section

    • Thanks for that! Will take a look

There was an Origami shop in Perth
    but it folded.

  • I got some from www.bookdepository.com once, there's a number of options, just make sure you double check the size, as they are often smaller than you expect. So get your calculator out to convert from inches to mm, and don't assume that because it says large it is by your standards
