    Amazon price-matching Catch

    • +1

Catch is clearing out a lot of previous gen Instant Pot range. They were probably a bit overpriced to begin with, but these specials brings them just above the Kmart range.

      • +1

Thing is, with airfryers in the 200-400 range, yes they may be expensive compared to Kmart's range, but considering the features and advantages of a well-designed, easy to clean and built to last + multifunctional + nicer to use airfryer, really isn't that much.

I've used an airfryer pretty much 350 days a year for the last couple of years, and more often multiple times a day. So, paying more for a good one is a no-brainer.

        • +1

I agree, esp. if you're using it daily.

Does "easy to clean" mean you can chuck it in a dishwasher? Because I just do that with a cheap one without worrying I break something. I don't do it daily, however.

Also what are "the features"? Is it like with microwaves - it may have ten programs, but all you actually need is temperature/power control and timer maybe.

  • Thanks picked one up !

  • Incredible deal. Nice find - I'm sad I bought the single chamber version not so long ago for the same price :(

    Any review for vortex?

    • Highly recommend

  • Can you use it with just 1 tray inserted (if the other one is in the wash)?

    • I have this model. Each tray can be individually started, or just 1 tray at a time.

        I'm confused.

        Edit: Nevermind. No longer confused

  • I'm curious, which one makes better fries, this or Philips XXL?

    • Xxl

      • Why is the Philips better? Honest question. As this mini oven type you can see what's going on. It is also a third of the price and maybe larger?

        • +4

xxl much larger can do a full chook, better air circulation and easy to clean

@abs898: By those metrics my oven is the best air fryer.

@henno: You saved yourself some money then by not buying this :)

  • Ahh just missed it! Had it in cart. 😟

I have this model for the past 2 months now.

    Pros:
    - TWO individual trays that can be INDIVIDUALLY set in terms of timing and temperature, or both trays going with the same settings in SYNCHRONISED COOKING mode.
    - the trays and inserts are easy to wash coz of the non-stick quality (can also buy paper inserts to cover the bottom)
    - operation is intuitive
    - pre-warming function before the actual cook
    - can do air fry, roast, bake etc
    - auto switch off
    - not big as one would expect, looks decent on benchtop actually.
    - individual light (on/off) in each tray so you can check cooking process through a window without taking tray out.
    - really happy with this price.

    Cons:
    - now this is relative: the tray can feel small. Using Woolie's kebabs, can fit 5 to 6 sticks longitudinally in each tray. Sometimes I wish the trays are bigger.

    • can you pls provide the exact longitude for each stick?

      • +3

User is in Sydney, so roughly 151.2093° E
