Steamed Hainese chicken rice with chilli

It's so bland but I can stomach it.

Suggested grassfed & grass finished steak

    grassfed & grass finished steak

  • Suggested Soup, Stew, Kebabs

If we have this infinite customisation choice I'd have to pick soups/stews and sandwiches was another excellent choice given those rules

If not a turkish kebab is heavenly and I reckon I could handle one every day

Interesting that this poll isn't "You can only eat one type of meal for the rest of your life" but instead more "You MUST eat this every day for the rest of your life" (implying you can still eat other foods too)

    Instant noodles!!

    • +1

Which one/s is the real question

      • +2

      • Would be easy to eat every day if I didn't have to choose but prob Shin Ramen at the moment! Same as Pizza though, does a particular topping have to be chosen?

Why am I seeing 11 answers for Pizza? Bug or a sign I should order some pizza?

    • +6

Really? You pizza see multiple pizza survey options pizza that have pizza in them? Strange, I pizza only see one pizza option in the pizza survey.

If you're pizza seeing multiple options pizza that say pizza, I'd probably pizza seek some medical or pizza psychiatric help. You may have pizza-itis

      • It must be Pizzaitis!

    • Something is very wrong with the poll function. My French Omelette also multiplied somehow, adding another one every hour or so.

  • Dim sims 2 steamed and 2 fried with a splash of soy sauce and Sriracha.

South Melbourne from 15 years ago or chien wah.

    Suggested Japanese Curry

Japanese Curry I could have every day

    • +2

      Chicken katsu curry. Mmmmm

  • Well for the longest time it was bistro food with chicken schnitzel with chips and gravy being a good choice everytime but on the down low Chinese food always slapped with fried rice, Satay chicken and salt and pepper tofu being the best every time also so any of the above for me.

Younger me would have chosen indomie mi goreng but i think richer now so Chinese food or Italian pasta or bistro food.

  • +2

    what? ….no love for pizza??

  • A roast - lamb/chicken/beef doesnt matter
    BBQ chicken, or
    rare steak.

  • +1

    Sushi

  • +2

    Soylent Pink

  • Not Indian, but a plate of rice, some naans and a bowl of hot hot beef vindaloo would do it for me. Throw some cold beers in there and we are all good for a few years without me being bored.

  • +2

I'm surprised that pizza hasn't been suggested yet.

  • Chilli with lashings of cheese, salsa and sour cream:
    - On rice
    - On baked potatoes
    - On corn chips (aka nachos)
    - In tortillas

    Or… pizza

  • +2

    What about pizza 🍕?

  • Chicken Toum and Tabouli

  • Suggested Donuts

    DONUTS!

  • Also who is having 14 slice pizzas?

    1. Caesar salad (with soft boiled egg, lettuce, bacon, anchovies, avocado, croutons, fresh parmesan cheese, dressing, and maybe tomato).
    2. Mueslie, soaked in soy milk for at least an hour, with some kind of fruit (e.g. strawberries or pear or grapes)
    3. Hamburger with the lot
    4. Pizza with gorgonzola cheese and Italian white truffle honey
    5. Coffee and toast
  • As a pizza snob I would specify that it would be Conneticut new haven style pizza

  • Suggested Rump steak

rump steak for sure i have eaten it for every day for 25 years so far

    • Are you kidding? That's 9,125 rump steaks in a row.

      • How many cows is that?

        • +1

Well assuming the steaks are 250g each, and each rump is 6kg, that gives us:

          • 1 steak per day for 25 years = 1 * 365 * 25 = 9,125 steaks
          • 1 steak = 250g, 1 rump = 6,000g = 24 steaks per rump
          • 9125 steaks / 24 steaks per rump = 380 rumps, or 15 rumps per year

Now if we assume the entire butchered weight of the cow is rump, and the approximate butchered weight of a cow is 400kg, this equates to ~6 cows over 25 years.

          #theydidthemath

          • @Chandler: Wow that's impressive, have a + vote. But a lot less cows than I expected!

  • I eat rolled oats for breakfast every day unless a problem prevents it

35gm into a small bowl, top level with boiling water from the jug, cover and wait 3-5 minutes until absorbed (when the bowl is tipped and no water appears), then a dollop of yoghurt (I use Jalna Sweet'n'Creamy), a sprinkle of walnuts, a splash of milk - 2 mins effort to make, 2 mins to eat and I'm not hungry for 5 hours

high soluble fibre, anti-inflammatory, keeps me regular - best food decision I ever made.

    • 2 min to make?

      "Let sit for 3-5min"…..

      • -1

'2 min to make? "Let sit for 3-5min"…..'

Let's test your reading comprehension - you left out the word 'effort' in my '2 mins effort to make''

but hey if you've got nothing better to do than invent straw man arguments, I guess you'll continue voting for Donald Trump or his ilk

What the heck do they put in it??

  • Suggested Abgoosht

It's a tasty dish if cooked traditionally 😋 but I might get bored after about a months

  • +1

    Poll is flawed.

You can literally have every single one of those options, on a pizza! Kebab on a pizza, that's a Pide. Schnitzel on a pizza, that's a Schnitzza (currently on sale at Pizza Hut). Pizza donuts, hot chip/French fry pizzas (have eaten one in Venice - do not recommend).. Katsu curry Pizza, chilli Pizza, roast dinner pizza. All exist.

May I present to you the current #2 ranked option on top of the #1 ranked option

    Pho Pizza

  • Srilankan coconut Sambol with white rice

  • Chicken Nuggets

  • Not quite the question, but if it was the only meal I could eat for the rest of my life I'd go with something like little bit of rice, some chicken breast, lemon and some veggies, like eggplant and zucchini. So that I have no option but to eat it always.

I often think I could eat X thing every day for the rest of my life, but in reality I max out at about 3 times in a week and if I do that I never want to eat it again.

  • Footlong pizza sub
