I've got one of these. Picked it up for a few $'s years ago at a garage sale. Keeps water hot for 24 hours. Bloody amazing. Can't bring myself to upgrade.

  • I have some "Thermocafe by Thermos" mugs from previous deal. I think there must be some reason these products labelled as "ThermoCafe by Thermos" instead of original "Thermos" brand.
Buy "Thermos" products if you like the brand and quality product.

  • Be aware that it's actually made in China.
Amazon has wrongly labelled it as made in Aust.

  • The plastic parts feel a little cheap. I don't know if I got a dud but my experience with this model is it is more likely to spray when dispensing compared to other pots I've used. I only use it for hot liquids, so not particularly nice.

  • Too many bits and pieces that could break or fail.

I'd just stick to getting a plain and simple thermos you jsut open and pour out

Not to mention cleaning that small metal like straw thing would be a bitch.

  • I bought the 2L one half year ago, seem it didn't keep water that hot anymore.
