Gillette Mach3 Turbo & Mach3 Compatible Razors 8/12/16 Pack for $14/ $19/ $25 Delivered @ OurDeal

35

Not original Gillette razors but doesn't seem too bad a deal. I guess you can always buy cheaper on eBay for genuines or even knockoffs.

Excellent, something useful to finally spend my $10 referal credits from the Stockland deal on.
    $4 for 8. Buy two seperatly - $8 for 16.

      bloody good deal.

      • LOL, I see what you did there! ;)

    Read up on http://fakeblades.wordpress.com/

I'd rather not have my balls cut to ribbons with these knockoffs

  • +1

I'm still using the ones from Dealfox which were $29 for 16.

    • Were they genuine or fakes? If fakes, how do they compare?

      • +1

They were genuine blades (I also brought them from dealfox)

      • +1

Mine were genuine, no problems with them at all. I've still got a few left myself, but as kirky1 says, those referral credits make these worth a shot for $4 top-ups! :)

    • Same! Gone through about 6 cartridges haha

  • If anyone is actually keen on trying some knockoffs, give these a look - http://www.buyincoins.com/-product-1710.html

At the moment, it's 50% off the 2nd item so 1 pack of 4 blades will cost you $3.68 USD, 2 packs of 4 blades will cost you $5.52 USD - including delivery.

Please note that I have NO IDEA if they are any good or not, but they are a crapload cheaper than the ones in this deal and most probably out of the same junk factory :)

They claim OEM but that's not likely, but you never know either I suppose.

  • hmm have $10 credit to spend but not keen on knockoff blades

  • Don't do it, fake blades are the work of the devil. Tried it once, lasted only 2 shaves (compared to 10+ with a normal razor), rusted very quickly, and had a serrated edge causing cuts. Think beyond that, no guarantee of process standards + blood = potential tetanus or other disease…all to save a few bucks? Not worth it…

I would normally agree, but with referral credit it's 50c per blade shipped…worth a punt IMHO.

Besides, if they're too shoddy I'll just give them to my father-in-law! :p

I'd recommend a cheapass bottle of alcohol based aftershave as well ;)

          I was thinking Windex! ;)

    Counterfeits? No thanks

( I realize not everyone has a Costco membership, but they have pretty good prices on the excellent Mach 3 disposables when you buy in bulk)

  • "Not original Gillette razors but doesn't seem too bad a deal. I guess you can always buy cheaper on eBay for genuines or even knockoffs."

You are right, that's why this in NOT a bargain :)

  • Normal price for fake blades that will cut your face up and has a life measured in hours instead of days. These things are even worse than the cheap basic blades. If you have a bag of blood ready to replace what you lose after using this junk then this is a deal for you.

had 2X $10 discount codes so what the hell.

I bought Dorco disposable razors from Clints crazy bargains in Albury 4 years ago. best razors ever (well pretty damn good). $3ish for 12. lasted ages.

  • Not a good idea. I purchased some cheap "genuine" Mach3 blades from eBay. It would have been better to use a cheese grater on my face than use those razors. They looked almost exactly like the original - seriously good copy, but there were some slight differences which you needed to know what to look for (site mentioned above helps with this). Got a refund with paypal. Steer clear.

HAHAHAHAHA, mine turned up today & I had a quick shave to try them out…despite the brand on the extremely generic packaging being "Good blades", I can confirm that they're not great! I'm glad I only paid $4…as Mr T says, I pity the fool that paid full price for these!

Looks like I'd better keep an eye out for a bottle of Aqua Di Windex to go with these for the father-in-law! ;)

      i appreciate the feedback mate

      • No probs. The wife LOL'd when she saw the packs…sky blue plain cardboard with only "Good blades" & "MADE IN PRC" proudly emblazoned on there…at four bucks even I had a chuckle; no harm, no foul! :)

Don't get me wrong, they're actually fairly usable, not quite as bad as the cheap twin blades from GoLo et al.; but you can really tell they're nothing like ridgy-didge Mach3 blades or even the usual parallel imports.

Thankfully, the FiL's face is made of boot leather, so he can shave & strop the blades at the same time! ;)
