  • I reckon it is definitely not cheaper enough as vitacost in USA requires less shipping fee.

An OS supplier and not even the same brand. Not valid for a negative vote. Read the guidelines please. Its now removed.

  • Chemist Warehouse have 'Healthy Care' Wild Krill Oil 500 mg x 100 capsules for $32.99- still cheaper, even at half the strength and 'King Krill' 500mg x 120 capsules for $37.99. Interestingly, the dose for arthritis reads 1x 500 mg capsule a day- and 1000 mg only necessary for heart health & cholesterol.

    • "the dose for arthritis reads 1x 500 mg capsule a day"

Which is complete bs of course. The research suggests that the amount of Omega-3 required to have any effect on arthritis is 2700mg[1], and from memory these capsules have about 600mg max each (possibly as little as 300-400mg - can't remember clearly with the ridiculous number of varieties of these things).

You can buy a high quality fish oil cap with 150 - 200 caps with about as much omega 3 for 2/3 that price. E.g. just a couple of days ago I bought Blackmores 3x fish oil 150 capsules (900mg per cap) for $39.95 from some random local chemist near where I live, not even Discount Chemist Warehouse.

  • I have yet seen any of my local pharmacy selling this for more than $30.

EG. My local Chemist Warehouse has been selling these for $28.99 for more than a month now.

You are cheaper by $1.49 but I do not see how this is 50% off when less than $30 seems to be the norm

EDIT - By the way, your online store shows this product is OUT OF STOCK

  • dr mercola says you need phosopholipids in krill to make them relevant.
