UJKO9079

Was searching for one of these today to buy, purchased off these guys as they were the cheapest. Cost me $529 + $15 postage to Victoria. Haven't tried other areas but will edit the title if it's not everywhere!

Funny thing is the white version is $10 more…

ps for those who are wondering i'm pretty sure this stock is imported like the rest of them judging by reviews of people but if anyone can confirm that would be great :D

Mod: As per the rep's comment below, 32 GB Blue version is now also available at $599 delivered (first 20 using coupon code UJKO9079).

Looks a bit suss. the ABN is of a sole trader and not register for GST??

    Entity name: ILIC, SLADJAN
ABN status: Active from 28 May 2012
    Entity type: Individual/Sole Trader
Goods & Services Tax (GST): Not currently registered for GST
    Main business location: ACT 2914

And the checkout didn't come up as secured for me.

    Just my 2 cents

Not being registered for GST isn't a Crime. Turnover determines this requirement. Just means he can't charge GST, which doesn't apply as it's dropshipping from O/S under AUD$1000

OTOH, Unsecured checkout possibly should be a crime.

He's a REP on here, so ask him

Summed it up buddy. Being a sole trader and not registered for GST doesn't paint any picture. Judging by productreview.com.au he's had a lot of +ve feedback.

Eitherway paid thru paypal using my cc so 2 layers of protection if it really goes sour. Besides stipulates in his FAQ's that he isn't registered for GST so not like he is being sly…

      @ciab

We have "I Want My Gadget" as a a registered business in the ACT, and it is owned and operated by me (Sladjan Sam Ilić).

It operates under my own ABN, so it's not a company that runs it. In terms of GST, I haven't yet reached the limit to charge it, however the way things are going I will have to next month.

I leave and work in Canberra, it's a business operated from home, and we (me and the wife) would love to have you as a customer with your 2 cents :)))

You will be protected as consumer under the Australian law which is why we have a 14 day return policy. More than anything we love happy customers and try very hard to be transparent in the way we operate.

      • Please don't have to start having to charging GST before the One X and One S I want :)

  • I do not understand why the 32GB version is $889. That price difference is ridiculous.

    • +2

Its out of stock and has defaulted to a ridiculous price so that we don't attract attention (and save money) through our advertisers such as shopbot or myshopping. Kogan does it as well sometime.

I've seen other sellers doing this (including eBay) and was wondering how that worked. Just out of interest, why don't you just delete the listing if it is out of stock?

        • +4

If you take the page down while you are out of stock, google might crawl your site and the page could disappear out of google's index. If you suddenly get stock and your page is now back up, it wouldn't be until next crawl that you'd see it back in results.

Thanks for the explanation, makes sense now.

Also, I am looking into the unsecured checkout issue. In theory and when I checked a few seconds ago, the checkout page should switch to https.

Can someone please let me know if it doesn't work for them.

    • Hey Rep,

Are you able to confirm some details mentioned in my description?

      • +1

Flat Rate shipping, shipped from HK.

        • @steptoe I should be paying you hehe

Yes, $15 postage anywhere in AU, item shipped from HK, requires 1-2 days before dispatch.

Warranty by us, 12 months, and I doubt we'd go bust within the next 12 months, the business is booming and we cant keep up :)

        • +2

Interesting that you can ship it from HK for $15 and shoppingsquare ask nearly $50.

This is proof of how SS get theirs under that magic $500 mark, overcharge by a factor of at least 3 on shipping.

    • Checkout switches to https://www.iwantmygadget.com.au/checkout/
Bill for $544 in the mail to you :p

    • +2

Https works for me, I'm tempted to buy but I have warranty concerns (risk around what happens if business goes bust?). Is the risk worth the $10 saving compared to Kogan's offer?

Also would you get a discount if you pay by Direct Debit, as we all know Paypal loves to take a chunk in fees.

      • -1

unlike kogan (i don't think kogan Australia legaly responsible for warranty as invoiced by kogan HK) isn't local sole trader responsible for warranty even he close down the business unless he goes bankrupt

        • All depends if he has anything to his name :P

      • check http://www.kogan.com/au/warranty-terms-and-conditions/
"Kogan HK supplies and supports all warranties relating to Products which are noted as being offered and supplied by Kogan HK "

I'm not interested in the GS3, but i'll give a +ve for the reps outstanding customer service. Keep it up!
