We have a Paradox system in our current home. Happy with the features and usability so will be putting in the same one in the new house. Been quoted about $1.6k to $2.4K for the system with 8 sensors, roller door connectivity, internet module and lcd display panel depending on wired or wireless options.

Agreed. Had Paradox in our last place. No issues. Flexible system. Recommend.

  • Sharks

  • a few motion activated POE cameras strategically placed inside the house with mobile alerts. So when something moves you get to watch it in real time. Not good if you have pets other than a goldfish.

  • get some tall trees and make it a habitat for drop bears. most effective way.

    Crimsafe

  • We have been recommended the paradox SP6000 for our house - after 4 years or so the motherboard went kaput - talked to several experienced security contractors and many of them recommended i swap the system to a NESS which is Australian made and spare parts are considered to be more readily available than comparable brands/make. We did so and so far so good.

  • What do you want to achieve? Alarms, impenetrable fortress, video monitoring? Internet access with alerts and ways to deactivate false alarms?

  • Home Assistant FTW!
Multiple door sensors, cameras, sirens - all running locally but remote access is also available. Cost ~$500-1000.
