    thanks op

  • thanks very much OP

this is a sweepwidget system, for whatever reason i always get flagged by the (edit: by the sweepwidget) anti-spam system :(

"This entry has been flagged by our anti-spam system. (34)"

    • It mentions VPN entries marked as spam.

Got the same when I tried to enter and I don't use a VPN. Messaged Comp Allaince and they are looking into it, but not holding my breath.

      • still no joy! oh well :)

but at least they've updated their error message a couple of times :)

"VPN's, strict browser settings and specific extensions can flag your entries as spam or invalid. If this happens, we suggest trying another browser or another device (such as a mobile phone using data)"

  • Lol $7k

I used PC part picker to pick all the parts - assumed 2 lots of 3 corsair case fans, some thermal paste, and $1699 computer alliance sell the monitor for. The best available prices right now came to $6470.92 without assembly, and without noting many of these are below RRP with a lot on Amazon prime rather than a proper computer store like Computer Alliance (and where there were two model options and I didn't have enough info to pick between them I went with the cheapest) - so I'm guessing this "valued at $7K" is about right, surprisingly…:

      AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor $730.00
Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT 65.57 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $329.00
      Corsair XTM50 5 g Thermal Paste $19.00
Gigabyte X670E AORUS MASTER (rev. 1.0) EATX AM5 Motherboard $739.00
      Corsair Vengeance RGB 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-5600 CL40 Memory $372.00
      Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive $309.27
Gigabyte GAMING OC GeForce RTX 4070 12 GB Video Card $1089.00
Corsair iCUE 5000X RGB ATX Mid Tower Case $269.00
      Corsair RM850e (2023) 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply $189.00
      Microsoft Windows 11 Home OEM - DVD 64-bit $135.00
      Corsair iCUE SP120 RGB ELITE 47.7 CFM 120 mm Fans 3-Pack $85.00
      Corsair iCUE SP120 RGB ELITE 47.7 CFM 120 mm Fans 3-Pack $85.00
      Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 32.0" 3840 x 2160 240 Hz Curved Monitor $1699.00
Corsair K57 RGB Bluetooth Gaming Keyboard $159.00
Corsair HARPOON RGB Wireless Optical Mouse $92.57
Corsair VOID ELITE SURROUND 7.1 Channel Headset $170.08

TOTAL $6470.92 + assembly + misc and in some cases delivery

yeah I'll gladly take that PC off their hands for nix if given the opportunity and see what difference 3.5x the price of mine makes :)

      • Can't say it'd be what I went with for that budget though, with all the massively expensive parts and "only" a rtx 4070.

        • Agree, rather go with b650+32ram+1tb nvme and choose 4080

  • I stand corrected. Wow that monitor is pricey

  • Solid prize.

  • Flaming thing flagged me as spam on laptop on chrome, also on safari on iphone, also on chrome on Motorola!
Not using vpn just decades old yahoo email address.

  • I was flagged on my phone as spam while using home wifi. Fixed by switching to data.

  • Went back to try again and the winners have been announced. It closed at 9am this morning :(
