The Hungry Jacks version is better.

They're currently $8 at Woolworths, which might be cheaper for those without Prime/OnePass.

Or just buy two packs of ordinary cards, and write the actions (reverse, skip, wild, and so on) on the margins of the J,Q,K,A cards. The four jokers become the "zero" cards, the red aces become "wild", the black aces become "wild take 4".

Officeworks have packs of cards for $2.99 each. You can buy cheaper elsewhere, but quality may not be as good.

Uno cards (post 2018) have 108 cards in the set, same as two packs of ordinary playing cards with two jokers per pack.

      • wow, never heard of that, the frugal man's DIY UNO

      • Is that the Ozbargain version of UNO ?? ;-)

        • If there was some way to include eneloops, it would be.

      Package Includes: 1x Tradicional Uno

It also does not mention mattel, could be counterfeit.

Who has more than 10 packs of used uno

I didn't think you would counterfeit uno, but you never know

        • +1

I can confirm that they make counterfeit Uno Cards. I remember seeing them in bargain shops for a $1.

        • +2

There are actually a lot of counterfeit board games on eBay (Ticket to Ride is the big one), but the quality is so good you have to look for tiny little tells most the time.

        • +2

I have a counterfeit deck, some tight ass Xmas present

        • +1

          They are 100% counterfeit.
Look at the UNO logo on the eBay listing, there is no registered trademark logo on the top right (R)
Look at the Amazon listing you will see one.

Also note the colourway on the letter shadowing.

I have a few packs of these knock of UNO packs from my last trip to Malaysia. They are mainly from a company called Maiiel, located in China. But at ~$1.65 a pack I figured why not. Great gifts for people you don't think are worth $2 or more.

      • +1

        could be counterfeit

Ah. The UN0 cards from Maiiel.

      Feedback

Looks like they are indeed counterfeit/not original:

This is not the original one, the colors are definitely not the same as the original one, in some cards you can see the print is off or the color is lighter than the others of the "same" color (some are purple and some lilac), the cards have a rough surface and are very thin (one was already ripped).

The uno cards were poor quality. Paper thin and the colours of the cards were off. What a shame.

i orded uno cards which were very cheap but on the description it didnt say they were not actual proper uno cards made by the proper company I was sold counterfeit cards which were not worth the paper they were printed on . i was very disappointed as they were part of a Birthday present for my daughter. while they did refund me i would never buy from this store and wanted to warn other people .

Well I am not so happy this deck isn’t authentic uno, the paper feels thin and to add to it the manual than comes with have spelling mistakes. It’s a poorly made one. Regretful buy.

Does anyone remember nude Uno from the early days of Xbox Live? When Uno was one of the first XBLA games that supported web cam on xbox, and you'd keep finding naked people in matchmaking, often in the middle of playing the skin flute.

  • Cheers. Purchased.
