  • I have ordered one for my son - the size 26 inch.
With Costco Returns - must be ok to return if no good.

But anyone has reviews of this brand in general please?

    • They used to be OK, but possibly cheaping out a bit with some lower models these days like most manufacturers. I reckon it'll be alright though if it was the Schwinn Breaker 26 inch.

  • I was keen on the folding bike until I found out it's 14kg. Bit on the heavy side for lugging around folded.

What were you expecting? That is well in the normal range, with rack, mudguards.
A full-featured folding bike will always be heavier than a racing bike.
      Try lifting an e-bike! :)

WOW! They have a tandem for only $400!

      • For the price I wasn't expecting anything different and realise I'll have to spend more if I want light weight.

This is a bargain website - was hoping it might be unusually good value.

        • I think it is actually quite good value for a quality folding bike. They are not easy to find.

If you are after a good folding bike, it will cost a lot more. Easily double. Second hand. Brompton and Birdy will be lighter and better; perhaps also a Tern (it is cheaper). I'm not aware of better-value folding bicycles than these especially the Brompton, while astronomically expensive, can be upgraded and repaired without concern.

  • V brakes! There is no possible way I can stop without hydraulic disc brakes at the speed I'll be going on this.

    • Is it because you have heavy bones?
