Damn - just as I make a post criticising local graphics card prices haha! Some sweet deals to be had here - I recommend the Gigabyte 670 OC, absolutely top card :)

      Hi Alzori,

Thanks for mentioning us - the local at your post below. Very much appreciate what you have done :).

Nice timing! I just purchased an Gigabyte HD 7870 OC yesterday

    • -3

any good? you save ~30 thou. Dont worry i read a maz it say ATI card will be able to crossfire with different card in the future (ie 7870+ 7970).

      • +1

        ummm…
        1. they've always been able to do that
        2. The faster card will throttle for the slower card… ie. your 7970 will turn into an overpriced 7870

  • I have a Gigabyte GTX580, I wish I could find a another one still in stock so I could run them in SLI. But this is tempting.

Lowest price I've seen anywhere on the Gigabyte gtx 670.

  • You guys are wrong about Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 TI OC 2GB GDDR5 Video Card GV-N66TOC-2GD,

    It should be 2GB 192bit GDDR5 instead of 2GB 256bit GDDR5

  • Net Plus Computers in Perth had the GTX670 for $399.
    all sold out now though.

  • Damn good price for GTX 670!

    While i will agree that its not too shabby a price for the GTX670 or GTX660 TI relative to other aust shops;

They are $309 USD Superclocked version (980mhz vs 914mhz)

    http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-SUPERCLOCKED-Graphics-02G…

Im sure the other cards are able to be delivered. Normal shipping it comes to AUD $318.56.
If you use straight conversion rate (some credit cards) its AUD $307.10

While i love to support Aussie Businesses, it annoys me a bit that the MSRP is $299 USD while here its 'on special' for $349 SAVE $40… even though exchange rate is ~$1.05…

Gouge me $325-330 i don't mind. Gouge me $349 and act like its on special, no.

    • That's not gouging! They are bringing this product into Australia. As far as I know, the import duty is 5% and GST is 10%, making 15%. Doing the math, 15% of $299 is $45, so a price around $345 could be said to be a pretty reasonable retail price.

Computer-related product pricing in Aussie are frequently said to be gouging. For example, I'd consider it gouging to sell the same Alienware in the US for $1499 and in Australia it's $2699. GST and import should only make it $1723, so Australians pay an extra $900, even disregarding that the dollar is stronger?
      Australia: http://www.dell.com/au/p/alienware-aurora-r4/fs
      United States: http://www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-aurora-r4/fs

      • Yeah i guess i overlooked those components. But thats still in USD pricing.
        $299 x 1.15 x0.95 would be around $330

        • +1

          you mean *1.05 not 0.95
          anyway youre both wrong

if you are importing to resell you cost would be much lower, say $200-250 cost. add taxes to that and you have the us price

          price gouging

  • How good is the packaging? That's the only thing holding me off :( Great deal btw!

    • Yeah…was just thinking about that. Not sure if it's worth getting the insurance or not…

      • Already paying $9.85 for shipping. Adding "$17.95 - Australia Post + Insurance Cover" on top of that…kills the deal, at least for me anyway lol

        • Just went with the regular shipping. I've had bad experiences with Auspost insurance in the past anyway… they wouldn't insure it because they thought it wasn't sufficiently packaged, and it clearly was.

        • I hope the packaging is enough :)

        • Purchased! :)

        • +1

Although I still recommend insurance like I do myself when purchasing expensive items online, the chances AP lost parcel is minimal compare to the numbers we are posting. There are foam inside the box and we wrapped the box in opaque material so the chances it get lost would be reduced.

  • How is warranty returns with Shopping Express? As we are talking about a $400+ graphics card here… mmm… This would be my first time to purchase from them.
    Cheers!

    • Thanks shopping express for this deal!! I just bought the Gigabyte GTX670. Looking forward to a pleasant experience with you guys!

      :)

      • Thanks so much for purchasing from us. for warranty just need to contact our CS and return to us will take care you from there.

  • Not to be picky, but might I recommend a seller name in the title, and less examples? You've been here for a while, ShoppingExpress, I would've thought that you'd know how to post things properly.

  • Any deals for ATI cards?

Would love $50 off your 7959 cards :)

  • Thanks Shopping Squa-express!

  • +1 - Brilliant price. Now if only I wasn't broke at the moment - I'd be snapping this stuff up like candy :)

  • a bit of off topic but any HP N40L sales?

Your prices after this $50 discount may be ok, but your regular prices are misleading and dishonest.

Like Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 TI OC $419, save 33%($200) RRP $629. Really?! It's $390-420 at most shops.

Where is a 660 ti worth over $600! That's disingenuous, and I avoid places that try and trick buyers into thinking they are getting a bargain like this.

  • Has anyone received their cards yet / had them marked as shipped?

I bought one of the EVGA 660ti very early yesterday morning and thinking I may have jumped then gun a bit with listing my current AMD card on ebay considering the card isn't even marked as shipped yet.
