      Which model have you got specifically?

      I've seen a few of the USFFs advertised recently have 2x 2280 SSD slots, but this one has one 2280 and one 2240 (for a wifi card). 2240 SSDs are a bit rare (or rarely made by reputable manufacturers). Are you running 2 different SSDs?

        Don't have the exact model number handy but checked specs quickly in proxmox and they're identical outside of the upgraded ram to what OP has posted.

        I only have one NVME SSD and one 2.5 inch SSD in mine.

        It's running BTRFS in raid1 for the 2 disks at 500gb each. Performance in this case for me isn't an issue but I imagine that the mixed software raid would result in dogshit performance, it's just running a PRTG + Shinobi server.

      All machines can output HDMI with a Display Port to HDMI cable.
      You don't need a dedicated HDMI port on the PC…

      The iGPU does HW HEVC decoding so you shouldn't have an issue with 4K.
      Just get a HDMI to DP cable, that'll solve your problem.

    How well does this handle Windows 10?
    Parents have a G1850 that's sloooooow but I was thinking of upgrading them to a new PC but then I saw this.
    Only web browsing is done.

      It'll handle Windows 10 and web browsing absolutely fine. Your alternative is to buy a i5 4460/4570 from marketplace/gumtree for $50 and switch out your parents CPU

    Have received 2 of these and both are locked to some random IT department so you can't use them at all.

    First one had no Wifi so the seller replaced it but the replacement is locked as well.

    Completely useless.

      Wow, if they're ex corporate machines and they've actually made it out to the secondary market without being securely wiped then that's a pretty major story. Somebody has breached their contract terms…

        They don't have any info on them but the user is locked out of every of everything.

        Anything you try to download (eg. Chrome) is met with an error about not passing virus scan and entering settings will say something like "some of these setting are locked. Contact your IT dept"

        Pretty frustating.

          Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10 and download the Media Creation Tool. Use it to make a bootable Windows 10 USB. Use that USB to reinstall Windows 10, with a fresh install you'll be back in business.

            The seller said he's had a bunch with this issue and is trying to find a solution or he will refund.

    Took them over a week to send mine out after I chased them up. Not happy maybee I should of just ordered one from AliExpress would of arrived quicker at this rate.
