Just to add to my other comment. I would try to add an extension to your browser like Augmented Steam for Chrome. I could see straight away that the price on Steam was not currently the best price.
+1 for Augmented Steam. It's a beautiful addon. Even tells you what games are on sub services to stop you from buying if you just wanna try it.
