Help Me Choose a Laptop for Video Editing, Ableton & Gaming. Budget $1500

I am trying to help someone find a laptop who is interested in basic video editing, Ableton (music production stuff), and some gaming on the side (nothing too demanding). They would like a webcam, headphone port, a couple USB ports and are have a budget of $1500.

I have done a bit of research and I have found that most people recommend the Acer Nitro 5 15.6-inch i5-12500H/16GB/512GB SSD/RTX3050 4GB
Which looks pretty damn good for $1198

Also have a few other options to weigh it up against -
Dell G15 15.6" AMD Ryzen 5 16GB 512GB GeForce RTX 3050 4GB which is $1171

And the Asus TUF Gaming F15 FX506HF 15.6" i5 8GB RAM RTX2050 for $1099 and a slight variation at JB hifi for $1379, however I don't know enough about graphics cards these days to know which would be there better option as the JB version has more RAM but a different graphic card.

Your help would be much appreciated!

For DaVinci Resolve & Ableton, why not MacBook M1?

    • Because gaming

      • OP says nothing too demanding?

Compatibility is still an issue with Mac afaik

    • I asked the person and they requested windows as they're familiar with it.

      • I'd suggest they do a bit more research before purchasing. Being proficient in both Windows and Mac OS is a valuable vocational skill. In the low-cost notebook class it's a choice between processing power and long battery life versus needing stuff that only runs on Windows and always having a power outlet nearby,

        • That's just their preference unfortunately.
