I bought it some time back and bought another one for someone else. Works quite well if you have rectangular car vents. BYD Atto 3 drivers probably won't want this.
Be careful with air vent phone holders. I rent out cars and almost all of them have had vents broken by people installing these.
If suction cups are suitable for you, this similar model is a few dollars more but won't damage fragile vents.
Is that damage covered by the rental providers? (I assume Uber Carshare)
It should be but UCS rejects the claims as "wear and tear".
Just spend the extra money on a quadlock instead of this monstrosity. This isn't a bargain this is a waste of plastic and just adds to landfill.

Strongly disagree. I have this from a previous deal, its the best phone holder I have had. The last 2 were $20-ish and broke very fast. This thing has been great.

these are weak indeed, if there is a bump, you phone will bounce up and down with the holder as it just solely relies on gravity, no tightening mechanism
I have the same exact one and I'm pretty happy with it.

I bought this, took off the front part and used the vent clamp/ball joint for a magnetic mount.
